Is it possible to make your own template design and use it on powerpoint? If you can, how do you go about doing that? If there is another type of presentation program that can do this much more easily, please tell me! Even better if the software is free like Open Office.
BTW: I currently run PC, but will be using mac before the end of the month. |

templates are just backgrounds right? in that case you can make your own and save it as a picture. then right click on the slide and go to "Background". use "Fill Effects" and click on the "Picture Tab". Click on "Select Picture", double click the background you made, and then OK, and there you have it, just click "Apply" or "Apply to All" and there's your powerpoint presentation.

Try googling it. Basically it comes down to editing the Master slides, add whatever graphics you want there, and then choosing "Save As" and save the type as "Design Template (*.pot)". Then comes the tricky part... putting the new template where Powerpoint will find it. The place you probably want to put it is under Program Files -> Microsoft Office -> Presentation Designs.
