Does Eddie remind you of a bad Freddie Mercury impressionist or is it just me ?
HAHAHAHA
actually i wrote that in my livejournal... he really does look like freddy mercury, especially in that one picture.
I just can't get over that site. It's too much.

#1 do not compare an actual person with talent like freddie mercury to the likes of these guys. That site took up a good 2 hours for me. I was so facinated with the site that people thought i was actually working. I couldnt bring myself to believe it was real but alas, it was.

I have so much to laugh at that I do not even know where to begin. What I do know is that Samara girl seems to like to get scantily clad though.

I found this site extremely illuminating and am keen to find out if there is a Distance Learning advanced course in the 'Hank Reinhardt Wolf Style of Sword & Shield'... always fancied myself as a bit of a Viking... maybe a Berserker...
Crabbi-san, That is so weird!!! Because I always fancied you a berserker too!!! Speaking of berserkers... your avatar is cool....what's the chance of making something for me

Did everyone get the chance to see the Franchise link?

Swordplay Alliance is now offering the ability to become a certified instructor in our organization and the opportunity to start your own franchise. The process for certification is as follows
A one time fee of $7500 which includes membership in Swordplay Alliance, a sword, mask, gorget supplies (you make), instructor badge & certification (level depends on indivdual student acheivement)

Now if I can only gather up $7500 and find my Freddie Mercury costume in my closet somewhere (doesn't everyone have one) and get into the biz' myself. Anyone with me!!!!

Take a glance at the Fantasy Katana; http://swordplayalliance.com/swordgallery/swo13.html
Nice..........., "I'd buy that for a dollar"

Fonsz-san, do you really need to ask if this is from the US or not? That one is a gimme
Mikeyprime-san, yep that Samara girl seems to be the Hai_hai's mom of that group

Great for a laugh or two....

Don't laugh too quick.

To quote their website, they teach, historically correct classes in fencing, broadsword, shield and buckler combat, Japanese style fighting...'

Hmmmmm....

Do the different costumes represent different grades? If so, what grade is the person in Fencing Mask, Grey Sweatshirt, Black Hakama (or midi skirt?) and open-toed sandals? This is certainly a style that I shall endeavour to emulate... might even avoid blisters....

Hmmmmm... [redundant Fnord]

I agree... I'm a huge freddy mercury fan. I was just saying that he resembles a flunky freddie mercury lookalike. Visually only.

On a related sidenote: Mikey, have you heard about queen's plans to reunite and tour with the lead singer of the band "Bad company" (Feel like making love.. etc) Paul Rodgers as their vocalist? Apparently they're going to play a mixture of both queen songs and Rodgers' songs.
It should be interesting, and although queen is not queen without freddie... i'll probably go see them when they come to ontario.

So ... Eddie Quicksilver (so as not to offend the Queen fans...) is a bona fide Swordmaster...

Well... he must be as he has been recognised by the Hanshi organisation... and you know how important that is!!! http://www.hanshi.com

These guys have been the subject of discussions on e-budo as well...

Remember that (as the site explains...) a Hanshi is... "a combination of Supreme Court Justice and five-star general"... and that a Hanshi..."prefers anonymity unless something brings him to the forefront where he must use his inordinate talents. He is generally assisted by specially trained people, called "hoshi," who see to his every personal need and is protected by "kyoshi," warriors, who are dedicated to him for life. "

Not a lot of those about these days...

I would love to try a men strike to Eddie while hes got that fencers mask on and see if he goes cross eyed. Wonder if Eddie is at the try outs for the 13th WKC? He could totally wipe the floor against anyone there. He IS a grand master or whatever his title is....
