I don't think that his Kendo is complete pants, and I guess that "pants" is referring to something negative. I had the distinct honor to be part of his team during the Kodokan seminar last year, and we all did our best but he won all his matches and was very helpful and a nice fellow all round. So I think that I will have disagree with you there. Can't remember how his hiki waza was by the way because he was so fast.

Yep fair comment. Ask him about going to the pub with his two older cousins..... having about five pints and then throwing up in the toilets. That should shut him up A few of us were hoping to pop down tonight but things got in the way. Anyway what were two older cousins doing misleading him, teaching him bad habits and not looking after him, I want to know?! |

Does anyone else think that Gibbo's Kendo is complete pants? He can't do hiki-waza for shit. This is so mean. Knock it off, ok? Just beause you don't like a person's Kendo, does not mean you post it here for all to see. What if he sees this? He may lurk here you know. You will hurt his feelings. hiki-waza?!? I don't rate his straight men cuts! I hope he doesnt expect to score ever in a taiakai... what grade is he? Ikkyu? And I hear tell some wack job is letting him teach a club.
'The great I am' ... quintessential Gibbo  (gives Kaoru a big hug) ignore these mean guys, we all still love you really. You're like the KWF mother hen, always helping out newbies and telling us off if we use bad language, its really sweet. The fact of the matter is, we've all been verbally and physically abused by gibbo, and we're just airing our frustrations. Another message to the 'I hate Gibbo club'. Membership fees are due, we're holding an anti-gibbo rally next week. |

I once heard that Gibbo was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon Gibbo hiki-men'ed the whole town. My friend Mark saw Gibbo totally uppercut some kid just because the kid opened a window. |

UCL Kendo Club - We Hate Gibbo and UCL Kendo Club - Breaking Hearts and Faces Taking orders now! We're thinking of putting japanese translation on the back: Gibbo ga daikirai... we couldn't really figure out the equivalent of the other one that conveyed the same meaning. All his idea, the man is a monster. |

It's awful quiet here, I suppose that Gibbo is now on friendly terms with the rest of the world. He did however struck back at the resident Bad Boy Hai Hai. So that would make him a good guy I suppose.

To the person who disapproved of my post in the user CP: If you're going to not approve, you could at least give an explanation why. I was defending this person. There is nothing wrong with that. I did not know it was a joke. There was no way to know it was. I thought a long time before I posted. I didn't just post without carefully considering. Did you even see my apology? I don't mind a person not approving, when it merits it. But, when it is just because I defended somebody, then that's just not right. There should be an explanation accompanying a disapproval if one is going to disapprove of something that was a good intention. See, reading a post can be kind of like trying to read facial expressions.(Which in person is extremely hard for me.) With just a tone of voice and no face to go with it, it's hard to tell what a person really means a lot of the time. So, without emoticons, that can really change the meaning of a person's post. Hence, why I read it the way I did. -------------- Anyway, I'm sorry Anjin-san and everyone else for not noticing it was a joke. It isn't your fault Anjin-san.
