I don't agree with whaling, but I do have a packet of kuzilla-jerky in my larder at home that I bought back from Shimonoseki. Not tried it yet - waiting for a special occasion...

I should probably admit that I've eaten it too. I quite liked it, and my Japanese hosts were very relieved that I ate it.

I've overcome what I was told growing up about how whaling is 'evil' and 'cruel,' and I wouldn't mind eating it again, but at the moment I have a little difficulty reconciling eating whales with legitimate concerns about overfishing etc.
