He's suing for 10 years of car hire to go to another dry-cleaner? If he is a judge, can't he afford a car? Do you guys not pay judges at least minimum wage? |

-pictures guy at beginning of disney's aladdin-:
A diiiiiamand in thee ruff! Is there another side to this we should know about this Ignatz? I mean surely you can see how people would think the guys a bit ridiculous for trying a suit (hehe) like that. And on the point of judicial immunity see the case of the Irish judge being charged with posession of child porn. hes squirmed away quite a few times now. Besides, you're only a three bar poster, Scott is four: he outranks you. ![]() |

But you are all law experts (even though some of you can't even spell lawyer). |

I know in many reports of lawsuits the "facts" presented to the public are not quite complete, to emphasize the outrageousness. But I'm having trouble coming up with any sort of rationale for the existence of this suit. In Canada, this would be a small claims court thing. p.s. immunity only applies to actions within the course of one's official duties, not what you do in your private life. |

If the Wiki article is accurate, then this guy should know enough law to know how much of an ass he's apparently being (given the few facts I've seen). And he will remain an ass despite whatever the real court decides. I hope the drycleaners counter-sue for a bunch.
