Moral of the story.

Don't mix your white gi and hakama with your reds.

Did someone get a wierd, color changing bleach spot so they decided to just bleach the whole thing???

There was a kid I knew in high school who did that once... had black pants with a bleach spot that turned bright green... so he just made them all green, problem solved...

Only explanation I can come up with...

Yep, a little strange. Maybe that is the only cloth they could afford?

I wonder if they sing the ninja song.....

It isn't that hard to PhotoShop the color of clothes into anything you want, especially if they were originally wearing white keikogi and/or hakama. Come to think of it, I like the idea that someone took the time to do this in PS better than the idea of someone actually wearing those colors.

Yeah, but that doesn't account for optional method #99 for tenugui tying.

I recon it's one of those 4-6 wash in wash out colours from a very well known hair care brand. Ya never know, maybe he woke up one morning and decided "I want a pink Gi." either that or woke up one morning and realised he'd dyed it pink.

Haha, it's like power ranger's Kendo. Anybody notice the kid's tenugui is actually tenugui for Matsuri?

yeah it's not that hard to do that, like swapping the shinai for a light saber,
but if that were the case why they put the pics in the dojo's site in the events album, it was in a couple of seminars or something like that, can't understand much, what language is on the page ?

Hay thats my line.

Anyway it looks like the guy in pink wanted a red hakama and gi but the colour didn't take. I had the same problem when I was doing judo and my mother tried dyeing a white belt green.

I agree with nodachi on the possible reason for the green gi.

Hmmm....I would just buy a new one, instead of making a fool of my self. Now if they couldn't afford a new one, thats a different story. But a lot of things looked out of whack in those picks...

Hmmm...I know if someone showed up to practice wearing that(either the pink or the green) it would be a real test of their inner strength, cuz I wouldn't let them live it down. I'm not the bully type either, but c'mon...I mean...c'mon. I refuse to type LOL,(except for right there) but I really bust out laughing when I saw this one. Great find.

It looks like a childerns dojo to me.
ahmed61086 I am with you in replacing my gear if it went funky colours.

And I still stick twirl to warm up my wrists.

I don't think it is as far out as people are trying to make it.
To me it looks like a couple of guys who want to stand out.
