Default Well, hello "I'm here" and stuff
It's the polite thing to do when one arrives somewhere, isn't it?

So, "Hello" everyone. I am a kenshi from the small and forgotten country called "Uruguay", located in South America next to Brazil and Argentina (for those too lazy to look for it :P (just kiddin'))

I've been practising kendo for a short time, only 9 months right now. And as it's supposed to happen... it has become a fundamental part of my life. We have trainings 4 times a week, I read about kendo all day on internet, download videos...well, all those things I imagine all of you also do.

There aren't many kendo students in this country; in fact, our dojo is the biggest right now with about 15 students! Yeah, maybe you're not believing your eyes...but do. We're a SMALL country and it is not a very popular sport. As you may guess, this brings some difficulties in our training....but we're all working hard to overcome them

But I don't wanna sound like a cry baby. We enjoy our training. Right now I'm preparing to take I-kyu grade, and will do so in June-July. We are a strong group, willing to learn, to grow and to walk this "ken-do" all the way through. I expect to learn a lot from this forum...and to give it back a lot too!!

We'll be "reading" ya around.
