before the questions and flames about your question as to training in the traditional way fall from above, I'll just say that in modern kendo, there is - to me anyway, a substantial amount of 'tradition' in the sport. however, there are no real swords. no blood, no guts, no harikari - but a good ass kicking workout that can leave you mentally and physically drained.
crap: i was too late - but far too tame than the Ignatz I know - I wonder if someone hacked his account ![]() Equipment: a beginner set at ebogu can cost you a little under a hundred bucks. shinai, hakama and Keikogi. The armor comes later and can vary. A little online searching can help - as can a perusal of the online shops listed under the Bogu thread. |
