baby girl tango arrived yesterday at 3:48pm in Memphis...

7lb 4 ozs, 20 inches.. perfect health!
mother's doing great!

gotta go catch some ZZzzzZZZzs now...

Have you bought her a tiny shinai yet? You know, those little display ones are just her size! I've seen really tiny ones... Hahaha, too bad they don't make rattles or soft toys in the shape of kendo gear! Gotta start them early!

Anyway, congratulations again on your sweet bundle of cuteness and joy!

I've seen them before too. One of the mothers in my dojo (who does kendo) bought one for her baby. Her first word was 'men' and she likes to hit people kote. No I'm not kidding. The girl spends a lot of time watching mummy do kendo.

Top news, excellent and you remembered the important details which most Dad's forget. I'm particularly impressed with height, most times they don't even tell you that but as I was born taller than my older brother I think it is an incredibly important statistic.
