I was just wondering (Obama's visit to Canada made me think of this):

Do you guys identify more closely with the States or with the UK?

I don't mean do you think of yourselves as one or the other, or that you're only a derivative of one or the other. I just mean, do you think you are culturally and socially more similar to Americans or Brits? I always assumed (Austrialians correct me if I'm wrong here) that Australians associated themselves more with the UK than the USA. But I really have no idea about Canada.

Just curious.
