If Bono did anything while NOT dressed like a "rock star", perhaps I could take it him seriously. I'd prefer to look at the actions of others who don't go feel the need to dress like they are going on stage to pick up an award when they attend what it is they choose to. That alone suggests that he treats these things as much of a publicity tool as he does an action for good. Just because I don't loudly go about declaring what I do, and dressing like a festival dancer while doing it, doesn't mean I "look the other way".
