I have always been proud of this country, somtimes I get fed up with this joint being ****ed up with no sign of anything being done to stop it.

It is being completely ****ed up and they want to change this place, it will be hard to be proud of it once they take it from what it was to what they want it to be. Which is not what you or I or our ancestors who spilled their guts all over globe for this nation would have wanted.
