Default Dwight Howard Declines to Opt Out of Contract with Magic
Orlando has another year to fit people around him.

Deron Williams, get ready to leave New Jersey!

Monta Ellis, don't get too comfy in Milwaukee.

Micheal Beasley is about ready to go to Disney World as well.

He's full of it. He doesn't want his future team (Nets) to gut themselves in a trade. Get rid of him now.

It would've been a contractual obligation. Papers would've been signed.

Now it appears he has changed his mind.

Anybody remember when Dwight came into the league and wanted to have the cross added to the nba symbol and we were all supposed to believe he was a good and wholesome kid? This guy is a scumbag. I hope he blows out some knee ligaments.

And now word is that he's signing the paper work waiving his ETO this morning, apparently against his agents wishes.

“I have gotten some bad advice,” Howard said. “I apologize for this circus I have caused to the fans of our city. They didn’t deserve none of this. I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart. I will do whatever I can to make this right and do what I was put in Orlando to do…

“This has been a very hard time,” Howard said. “For me, my family and all of us. The fans deserve a better hero and I will make that happen. I love and appreciate my fans and this city.”

Hey Lebron, if you stopped being so sensitive and stopped talking about it, it might go away.

Well, probably not. But just STFU already.
