Default For you "The new comer"
Please forgive me if I use wrong English.
In Thailand now have a new famous monk name 'Pramote Pramote-cho'. His teaching can combine every groups of Buddhism that may have confict together into the same understanding.
The one of famous monk in Thailand said "This is a phenomenon and name 'Luang Por Pramote Phenomenon'. Many people that never interest in Buddhism become interest. Many of them were young people and high graduation.

He wrote "For you The new comer" that simply and ordinary since he was not a monk. I suggest you to following "For you The new comer" from this link :-

Actually, The book "For you a new comer" not only for new comer. If somebody can follow this book. They can "Awake" and follow the path to be enlightenment.
The other books like "Path to Enlightment II", "Path to Freedom" are more detail than this book.

Sorry if I missunderstand your post.

In Thailand the banana represent "Easy". Then he use banana pictures to show that the Dhamma is easy.

He wrote "For you a new comer" in web board since he was layman. Our group beleived that he was "Anāgāmī (The 'Non-Returner', is a noble disciple (ariya-puggala, q.v.))".

He used his "ceto-pariya-ñāṇa: ('penetrating knowledge of the mind (of others)', is one of the 6 higher powers (abhiññā 3, q.v.)) teached our group members to understand the feeling of "Awaken" one by one.

Grateful to you for providing this; it's lovely in its simplicity of teaching and in the artwork. I shall print a copy to keep with me and give to those with questions about the basic practice of Buddhism.
