It was great, for a rental- hadn't been too abused yet. Very nice car. It was the hatchback model.
That being said, I'm used to driving a veritable go-kart so I may be a bit skewed

I've rented some Kia Rios, Chevy Aveos, and a Chrysler 300 (omg it was like driving a plane) but I liked the Focus best.

They're good cars, smooth ride. Always liked the Taurus in the 2000's. I like Fords honestly, I've had my 1999 Escort for a long time, 145k miles on it...hangs in there. I'm not willing to shell out a lot of money for a car right now.

Yours certainly looks MUCH nicer than mine. Good work on it.

That's cool. They seem to be nice cars, but just way too small for me. I need a large vehicle

Thanks, I've put alot of time in her The ride is great, especially on long trips with straight, no stop driving. I was actually able to squeeze 20mpg out of her on a trip to Maryland about a week ago.

Default Marilyn the Taurus
Hi all. Figured I'd join in the fun here and post my ride. 2003 Ford Taurus SEL/GT conversion project. Fully loaded daily driver (I have no other car lol) and working project. So far, only aesthetic modifications as in fat pinstriping and greyscale paintwork. She has slightly oversized tires (mainly for snow driving), upgraded headlight/marker bulbs, intake baffle delete, 'etched' Ford logo in taillights and bodymatch grille, rockers, and spears (needs redone) and a rear emblem relocation to below the taillights. Future plans include a V8 transplant with dual exhaust and full Lincoln Continental interior swap. She just got a brand new transmission and battery.
