Well this Computer Science is a very wonderful subject.You would learn various important mechanism of software programming along with technology of hardware components. It would also enable you to perform in an innovative and logistic manner because the course and the curriculum of this subject emphasizes on application of knowledge in real time world.

Never the less, its a job fetching subject with lot of growth and scope in our country.So go for it if you are getting an opportunity.Also remember one very important thing. What is computer science?

Computer is an electronic machine which receive data as input process it and gives an meaning full result is called computer and the science which deals with the study of computers is called Computer Science.

There are three types of fields in computer they are :-

Software
Hardware
Networking

The things which we can touch and feel is called as Hardware.

Software is an interface between User and Operating System.

Connection of two or more computers by means of a cable media is called Networking.

I want to know which one to take BE or BCA , I want to pursuie computer science so can anyone suggest me?

Dear Aspirant;

There is much more scope available in Software / IT industries for those who has passed out Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Computer applications.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the above said courses is as follows :-

For applying to the Bachelor degree in Engineering one has to passed out Intermediate with a minimum of 60% aggregate with that he has to appear for the Common Entrance test which is conducted by the State Examination Authority.

Merit wise students will be eligible for taking admission in Graduation in Engineering.

For applying to the Bachelor degree in Computer Applications a candidate has to passed out Intermediate with a minimum of just passed percentage in any stream and there is not need for giving entrance exam for taking admission.


Graduation in Engineering is having more scope then BCA, but if you do MCA after BCA then it will be superb for you.
