he he he ... what socialism does...
actually since I moved to Croatia, the ISP is good, no issues yet more than a year, we had the telephone issue once where they came the day after and fixed it in 24 hours, but overal I am very satisfied... they also seem to be running faster download rates that advertized?!? But in UK... he he he... I run two at the same time, as I am working from home most of the time, to have certainty that one of them will work. It was NTHell cable (Virgin now), and UKonline ADSL. Both had intermittent outages, calling NTHell was hell, once it changed to Virign, slightly less hell but still felt hopeless on many occasions... UKOnline were great until bought out by Sky, when the service went downhill, and I was happy while it worked, but when it broke ~ Virgin style support = iffy... Overall it improved greatly from late 1990's when it was pure crap, to iffy, better than line carriers, and many other things in UK, but still poor comparing to what I have now, or your Danish example. I never had an engineer come within 24hours in UK out of 10+ times they had come, least was probably three days, the longest outage and engineer wait - more than a month... but services in UK are usually attrocious and this is not a suprise, but as a positive ISP's have improved greatly over the last decade. |
