Japher - Not sure I'll be able to forgive you for that.

Eco - You mean you don't like "roll the Bones"?

My friend's mom circa 1990{with a Dutch accent}: "She has a lovely voice, but she is very ugly."
After Show of Hands, things just weren't the same anymore...

That show...on funky fungus...wow...just...wow.

Not necessarily my favorite, but it wasn't posted yet so, yeah.

Rush is awesome. Wish we had him up here.

We do have Mark Steyn though, so that should count for something!

I'd like to note that "The Trees" is a transcendental (as Kant uses the term) story about economic, social and ecologic justice.

Their music is pretty intellectual for rockers. It's not just "I'm gonna rock and roll all night" (which I like MUCH more than the emo rock of the past decade or two); it's smart stuff.

I guess you are being sarcastic. My intention was not to inform Rush fans of anything, but to comment on how they are a smart band for those who don't know them so well.

They're an instrumental band, comprised mostly of Dream Theater members.

DT kinda roll Rush and Floyd into one, with added grunt.

The other thread beat us.

I was sure there was more to appreciate about Rush than Russia.
