Default Bush & Obama
They aren't very different. They just act like it during election time. They purposefully make insignificant differences to their platforms and then make them seem like huge differences.

Well, I sort of have to agree that Bush always seemed like a fine guy to me at a personal level. I remember when he personally intervened when a tussle broke out between US and Chilean security personel at a meeting in Chile.

Don't get me wrong, death row conversions are about the least believable things EVAH, but that is irrelevant to then-Gov. Bush's behavior.

Darius has just ended all future political debates in Apolyton Off-Topic for eternity with his revelatory, one sentence summary.

Every president in his last months of power adopts a conciliatory attitude, including towards his political enemies. Every pres wants to remembered in a positive way, and in vain they all try to behave like a 'good guy'. Bush tried to make peace in the Israel-Palestine conflict, but got thwarted by the failure of Livni forming a government, which in turn caused the majority to shut down peace talks with Palestinians and Syrians. Pretty much the last big failure of the Bush administration, though I have to admit this time around he didn't really **** it up himself

I'm pretty sure the part of whitetrash that implies lower class is the "trash" part, not the "white" part.

He's prolly trying to make up for what Clinton did to him during the transition when he took the reins of power.
