Rhythmic gymnastics was added so older girls could still have events to compete in, instead of being over-the-hill for regular gymnastics, because their delayed puberty had finally arrived, and their tits threw off the center of gravity they were used to.

I thought equestrian involved maintaining one's seat while the horse jumps over horse-hurdles or whatever? As opposed to sitting in pretty much the exact same unchanged posture for about a mile and moving only when the time comes to start flagellating the poor beast's bunghole? Racing is definitely a sport--for the horse. The jockey's mostly a weight with a whip.
