He also had a brief run playing Mr. Conductor on Shining Time Station (Thomas The Tank Engine children's show) in the early 90s.

I remember that ****ing freaked me out.

In this world, things are blatantly obvious - yet people continue to do / think or say stupid things. Carlin, like Connolly and Bill Hicks, are very good at reminding everyone of how stupid people can be and to try and avoid it.
