Default Titles from Sealand

Technically it's illegal in the US to have a title though and be an American citizen, is it not?

"No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state."

He's fine having a title.

Should we tell them that "Lord" and "Lady" are not titles, but rather denote nobility? Nobility includes the titles of Duke, Prince, Marquis, Count*, Viscount, Baron, Baronette and their female counterparts.

Thanks for the heads-up Harry!

I heard something about this in the news a few months back, but didn't pay it any mind at the time.

I just ordered 2 titles - one for myself and the other for my significant other.

If anything, it is a cool novelty gift.

Hey, all these titles are for Lord of Sealand, Baron of Sealand, etc.

This is going to start one massive civil war as hoards of nobels field their armies to battle over who really controls Sealand.

Ok,

I received my first packet which was all that I basically needed - except for having to mail them back to tell them who actually is being awarded the Lord/Lady/Baron/baroness title....Which I figured made sense. Then I realized, if I have to physcially tell them who is to be awarded the title....I want them to send the framed title back to me (hell, for under 20 bucks, it was worth it).

~Under 2 weeks later~

I have now received my offical "framed" certified certificate. Now I have framed certification of my Baronship hanging on my wall. It might not be England - but legally, it is still legal by international law.

So please, for diplomatic reasons - You can address me by Baron...or Lord if you will....although "Baron Wittlich" has a certain ring to it...but on the same note "Lord Wittlich" has a bit of esteam to it....so I leave it all to you good folks. Baron or Lord would do fine with me....but I will be diplomatic about it and leave it up to you to decide.
