Default Walking the Groceries
-- This story is dedicated to those who ridicule me for writing it. You need wisdom the most. Take care. Glad to see you're not pretentious

This type of artsy, vaguely effeminate story is not fit to wipe my ass I'm afraid. Reminds me a bit of my mother's stories to me when I was growing up.

I like to walk the groceries because I prefer to have the choice you get in the supermarket over home delivery, and Im sort of green and I dont have a car

I disagree that the first step is the hardest as my house is at the top of a hill

sex is not dirty, but pain coming out of careless use of it ultimately is.

Unless you want it to hurt........ sure and you are an emotional brick so sticking it in has only good short term effects... I guess it works for some

"walking the groceries"

What a strange phrase. I've walked a dog before and even a ferret or two but never my groceries.

Anyway, Saturday morning is traditional grocery time for me. I'll drive the couple kms there and back and be done within 1 hour. Effective time management.

Walking for an hour is hardly "exercise" and doesn't really make you stronger.

I'm telling you.

Give it a try!

You will be stronger for it and your legs will thank you.

I have too and I found it made a big difference.

I'm certainly not 'body builder fit', but it's just something that worked for me.

It's ok.

Hard on the knees with the pavement though.

Walking to work

Being stuck in someone's armpit on a busy tube train.

Having to listen to loud schoolchildren and people's w@nkpods on the bus

Quiet bus journeys with a seat and a good book

Try going from working a retail-type job (walking most of the day) to a desk job. Then you'll never doubt the exercise value of walking

Holy god you are pretentious.

I think that "Idiocracy" should be compulsory viewing.
There's a scene where Mr Average (super-intelligent in the world of idiots) is saying something genuinely smart. Then all the idiots start doing the mouth-flapping thing and taunting him.
It's a sad but astute reflection of a prevailing mentality. There are only seven worthwhile minutes in the movie: the introductory narration, the scenes with the black president, and the mob destroying the retard's car. If you want to make a movie compulsory viewing, try to make sure 97% of it it doesn't completely blow.
