I have just (literally) baked a beercake

500 grams of flour
500 grams of brown sugar
3 tsp ground cloves
3 tsp ground ginger
3 tsp ground cinnamon
3 tsp baking powder
1 beer

Mix the dry stuff first. Then add the beer and stir. Pour into a baking tray, and bake for 1 hour at 180 C. Leave until cold, and eat with generous amounts of butter spread on it

Asmodean

EDIT: Typo - it's a beer cake, not a deer cake
