I love how according to the all-knowing, all-true Wikipedia *wink wink nudge nudge* the band has been around since '94 but has had to change their name 3 times to its current LC incarnation.

Nightwish isn't bad...she sounds like she's an opera singer though. Why can't they all be as good as Lacuna Coil?

My favourite Lacuna Coil songs are Circle, Falling, Cold, Soul into Hades, Falling Again...

I am going to second Nightwish and Within Temptation and add After Forever.
I should also mention Tristania (A Sequel Of Decay is a great song) as a similar group that you might enjoy.
