I would like to start doing some competitions for fun, but don't know were to start. If your in CO can you let me know what the scene is. A quick Google Search turned up Colorado Springs but is a ways away from Denver to drive every other week. Also how should I build a deck, from researching on here most seem to buy a starter deck and modify it. My other option is too start from scratch, I have 8 or so starter decks but there all mixed together ranging from yugi, jaden, joey, mai (harpies), pegasus, etc. Also can you go and just watch at a weekly get together? I feel I need to learn more about the special abilities before I jump in. Also if near me don't hesistate to pm me to duel at a local coffee shop or something it'll give me some experience. Sorry for the newb questions lol
