Alright I'm a huge fan of the anime Bleach, and an even bigger fan of the stories main antagonist Sosuke Aizen. While trying not to give away to much detail surrounding the storie's (and Aizen's) current status for those who don't know, I think that any Bleach enthusiast would agree that Aizen is in a pretty tight spot, which I mean is kind of crazy given the intellect, ruthlessness and calculated cunning he has displayed so far. If your not quite caught up with all of the Bleach happenings I might click out of this thread now, but here are a few of the Aizen related questions and concerns I have that I really want closure/answers to. To with start after the current arc (which appears as though it will be relatively short, going by Kubo's more recent interviews and all that I've heard the series will conclude with a rather lengthy final arc. From all indications this arc would deal greatly with the 0 squad and the soul king. My first question and I think that of many fans worldwide is who will be the primary villain? Will it be Aizen? Should it be Aizen? How can it be Aizen? How can't it be Aizen? Look I understand all sides to a degree, but this is a series which will likely push 500 episodes total. I think it has to be Aizen. This is Bleach, and while I know there was a ton of filler we're well over 300 episodes and Aizen has been the true and steadfast enemy really the entire time. His actions and manipulations influence greatly and very much predate the basic story lines. Also the final battle with Ichigo aside from being both brief and anticlimactic left me with a great deal of questions/potential thoughts. First of all Aizen was never even able to begin construction of the Okin. Lets be honest whether we thought katakura town was finished or not I'm pretty sure we all thought Aizen would get his okin and break the boundary to the soul palace. Another thing that really vexed me, was I don't think Aizen was completely bonded with the hyugoku, I really do think higher "evolution" as he called it was possible for him. Therefore I do feel like the potential to make Aizen return on a completely different power level is there. My final and by far biggest complaint about the Aizen's downfall is this. I in no way shape or form bought Ichigo's theory that Aizen just wanted to test his limits and meet an as powerful or more powerful opponent(s). Aizen's goal was to surpass all forms of being (obviously soul reaper and hollow) and exist on a higher more "evolved" plane than any other being. He wanted to be God, and I don't believe he has or ever will lose sight of this. In addition I'm really unclear and can't fully grasp why the hyugoku failed to recognize Aizen as its master. Like I said Aizen is truly merciless and void of compassion or caring and I don't buy the Ichigo suggestion at all. Well those are my thoughts, if there are any other Bleach fans please post your thoughts. I think its pretty much assumed that Aizen will escape/reach freedom, its just that his role in the final arc is totally up in the air. For all of you who want a new final villain, think about it long and hard. We've watched 300+ episodes of this great anime and despite the numerous fillers Sosuke Aizen and his merciless manipulations and trechary have dominated the entire main story. It wouldn't be even close to the same without him. Wanting a new final antagonist for the concluding ark of a series this long honestly seems foolish to me. I think the circumstances surrounding his plan should obviously change, but I think Aizen pursuing the soul king and god like status should be the final villain/plot. Alright guys sorry for the tangent, but like I said earlier I'd really like to hear the views/predictions of sum other fans.
