[Yarmark]

Hi folks. Looking around here on CC, I haven't seen people posting much in the way of literature (like poetry or journal entries) that show the stage of coping they're going through. Writing is a tremendous outlet for me, so I wanted to share a poem with you. Please reply to this thread with a poem or journal entry you've written at any stage in the "coping process". Maybe you just found out... maybe it was years ago. Maybe you're still trying to make the relationship work... maybe you are trying to move on. Whatever the case, post something.

Transformation

I walk toward the light
At the end of the tunnel.
I leave you in the darkness
Behind me.

You are weak, struggling
With the confusion of
where life has taken you.
Painful path.

As I take steps away
from where you are--
I feel sadness.
This hurts.

But I need to be strong
and that will happen alone.
Your decision pains you.
Follows you.

I want you to be well
whether you believe it or not.
I can't stay to watch,
but I hope some day,
I will see you transform--
into someone healthy again.
