Hi, Im struggling everyday from the break up between my husband and I. I found out he was "spending time" with another girl instead of going to work
Before he was busted there was never any talk of divorce. I moved back to Australia from the USA to be with my family as he told me it was over between us

6 months have passed, we have spoken on and off. Im still deeply in love with him (I know crazy) but i honestly believe that we can resolve this and our 8 year marriage deserves more effort.

He is still with this other girl (8 years younger, he's 30)

Today he messaged me asking ME to file for divorce papers as it was too expensive for him. Having to hire someone to actually serve me here from overseas.

I know he would send me money to file them, but honestly....is it appropriate to call your wife and ask HER to file the paperwork? (even when you know she doesnt want to) To me it feels like he made his bed, now he has to lie in it. I spent enough money having to move back to Australia after such short notice. I feel like this is his problem to deal with

And to be honest I am not in the state of mind to even start dealing with divorce papers. Infact they cant be filed until after a year of separation here.

I will also admit, secretly, part of me wants to make him sweat it out as i know his new little homewrecker GF is in his ear and nagging him to get the paperwork done

Am I being unreasonable and "difficult" ?????
