We are sorry for your loss this morning, EE. Brothers are very special. May the Presence of the Almight God of the universe draw near as you miss him and journey through the dark valley of death. It's obvious you loved him greatly. That God connection will sustain you both as he is now safely home and going to miss the rest of the craziness we who remain are stuck with enduring until it is our time. You cannot see your brother, but he's just around the bend, and can still hear your voice and feel your love, while loving you back in same if not greater measure.

It's hard looking at pictures right now, but I'll put a face and name to a story
I met Larry in junior high school and we became fast friends. He was nick named "Bear" because he was always big...in fact I think he was born 6' 4 1/2". Me and the group of friends that hung together never had trouble finding him in school because he towered over most people. Through the years we got into more shit and had more fun then at anytime in my life. The stories are endless...maybe I'll share a few later. We were always close friends until probably the year 1998 when I moved to Florida...but we always kept in phone contact through the following years. He was a funny guy, a ball buster extraordinaire that looked a lot like Tom Hanks. He served in the military (Army) He left a wife, two daughters and a very recent 1st grandson. I'm glad he got to hold him. I will miss him. ![]() Me and Larry camping with some friends, mid to late 80's in Strawberry, AZ ![]() My two oldest bro's that stuck through the years, Larry and Bill - 1990 ![]() Mid to late 70's Larry his wife and their first daughter. |

Thanks all
He was diagnosed around May 15, so he didn't last long. It goes to show, when something happens like this to someone you care about, don't waste time to see that person or tell them what you need to say. Luckily he did get some time to put his affairs in order and say what he needed to those he cared most about. I spoke to him this past week and he sounded good and in good spirits. It sounded like he had more time then first thought. I told him I was going to make a road trip in the beginning of August and I would see him then. Me and a few friends were going to take him somewhere to celebrate his and our friendships. That didn't work out. |
