Kind of related to "First Flower".

We're all laughing at work this morning over this sentence: “Animals are much more vivid to the average person than plants are,” Dr. Raven said, “and some people aren’t even sure that plants are alive.”

Makes one think of CITES as well....

That made me laugh. Last week I went to my great-grandson's 4 th birthday. When I asked for a hug he wouldn't give me one. His reason was...."I dont' par-tick-u-larly like humans. I much prefer animals".

I did get a hug, and a thank you, after he opened the gift I gave him.
