Everyone thinks it looks freaking gorgeous.

I think it looks horrendously amateurish and extremely literal.

It's an extremely well-done 3D render, but yeah they didn't really change much from the E-Type apart from adding way too much chrome.

Yeah, I saw that and completely agree. It reminds me of one of those super trashy retro kits that some companies offer for the Corvette. Simply wretched.

Front looks like a Mitsuoka - not the most flattering compliment one can give

but I actually do like it...its a cheesy remake...but theres definitely soemthing charismatic in the E-tpe that the designer probably felt would be criminal to change and conform to conventional design...so he let it be... I can understand that....

I know that it's just a rendering/concept, but, when I first saw this I first thought it was a Corvette-kit, too. What I understand it that if there's enough interest, this could actually see limited production. In an odd way, the front of this reminds me of the Packard re-make, the "Packard Twelve" that never seemed to get off the ground, yet a prototype exists. Here is a link to their site, which is still active, and posted below:

First of all it has a Mercedes E face so that alone make it a fail as a resurrected E type. The wheels are totally ghetto bling and perfect for someone who wears velvet suits and rents out women.
