Gran Turismo 4 - game data corrupt - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

I switched on my PS2 today to find this.

What has caused this? Can I get the game data back?
Every time I press 'OK', the screen just comes up again.
It was working fine yesterday, and GT4 still shows up on the 'Browser' screen.
Is it a fault with the memory card, the console, or the disc? I haven't tried any other games.

Tried a different game today, it worked fine, but GT4 still isn't working.

Sorry to say, but you're not going to get that save game back. You can download save games off the internet, but that takes away the warm fuzzy feeling of doing it all by yourself. It'll be the save on the memory card that's your problem.
