Default death before iraq....how ironic
sooo, as some of you know, i left this past sunday at 7 am to go back to iraq, irony of the situation is, for whatever reason once we arrived in atlanta, they had no plane for us to fly on, so after sitting in the airport for 5 hours, they had us taken via buses to the ramada inn and stayed over night, we than returned to the atlanta airport the next morning only to find out that we werent leaving for another 4 hours, but were leaving for sure, we got on the plane last night and ended up making an emergency stop in maine....yaaaa, our engines having problems and hoses werte comming off the engine!!!! i dunno wth is up with the military lately but id rather not die on the damn plane taking me TO the war. were still sitting in maine and its 9 am on tuesday..., and we dont even know if were leaving for sure again today, last night sleeping on an airport floor with 300 other soldiers was a little ridiculous. wish me luck, for some reason im not too comfortable with the plane were taking but, i dont have much say in that, im too low of a rank, thanx for reading this while i vented, its been pretty frustrating so far. hopefully i make it over there safely. ttyl guys
