i just read it is projected to hit at least $3.80, but that's not premium, and as we all know... premium ftw.

I don't think $4.00 is too far fetched at all. Unforutnatly!

[rant]Yeah, they hit us with that "summer blend" bullshit earlier and earlier every year. It's fucking 35F outside right now and I have to pay $2fucking80 for "summer blend" regular just for my DD??? Gimme a fucking break, already! That's why my SRT even isn't "officially" on the road yet - can't afford to buy the gas for it, and it's not even "cruising" season yet! Every time some A-rab farts or says he's sick (remember when the Saudi king died?), fucking crude prices jump 25%! They literally look for any excuse to raise the prices - and these fucking analysts...whenever they say we could "see" prices up to $4, that just gives Big Oil all the ammo they need to contnue boosting prices to near "analysts' projections", since the consumer already "knows" it will go that high to begin with!
Sorry for all the swearing, but this is one area the really ticks me off, having grown up in an oil producing state (TX), and seeing all that crude just sit there under ground, while the government PAYS them not to bring it up! A lot of goverment higher-ups have vested interest in foreign oil, and don't want domestic crude flooding the US market, which would in turn force mid-east crude to drop in price - you do the math. [/rant]

Rant off, but I'm still fucking pissed
