Default Anyone else constantly forgetting things?
It's getting on my nerves. I'll be typing a sentence and think of a website I want to look at and then have forgotten what it was when I've finished the sentence. Stuff like that. I always seem to be thinking of about 10 things at once which my doctor blames on it but it's still really annoying.

I couldn't remember if I had already taken my vitamin tablet 10 minutes earlier yesterday.

Anyone got any good remedies? Other than thinking really slowly.

Yep. Happens to me too. Worst thing is when it happens when I'm having a conversation with someone, or trying to pay attention to a lecture. All of a sudden I'll stop to consider a point they made for a moment, and its like my brain shuts off and doesn't hear anything they say afterwards. I'm listening, but none of it makes it through. I actually can't take notes during a lecture or I literally won't remember anything the teacher is saying.

Either you smoke heavy amounts of cannabis or you are suffering from senile dementure.

You clearly know exactly what you're talking about.

My memory is terrible too. I see something on the PC that I want to read to someone else and in the few seconds it takes to go to where they are I forget what it says. Also I'll be thinking about something, then get distracted by something and then forget what I was originally thinks about.

I am not sure what you mean by "vitamin tablet".... But maybe try NOT taking a vitamin tablet.... Half the time cheap artificial vitamin supplements do more harm then good and arent really neccessary if you eat a decent diet.

Honestly, I find I forget the little things all the time. I meant to drop off my rent check yesterday but totally forgot. Not a big deal though since it isn't due yet.

When I say I forget what it says I mean how it's worded not the subject. And when I say thinking about something I mean thinking aloud.

It's obvious that you haven't got a clue what you're on about as there are loads of things that can make you forget things constantly....stress, over-active imagination, over-thinking, multi-tasking to name but a few.

I don't take any drugs nor do I have Senile Dementia, But I do forget things and that's because I have CFS/ME, diagnosed 7.5 years ago, so if there are no other reasons for your absent-mindedness or forgetfulness then I suggest you see a doctor, especially if you have other symptoms too.

Could be other things such as tiredness or stress though.
