Default 27" apple screen
Holy ****, it's enormous. Is it the same as the one on the 27" iMac? It's taking up most of my desk but it looks beautiful!

EDIT: I think I'm in love...

not a big fan of osx, but one cannot deny that apple hardware looks amazing. Wondering why some other companies cannot take a hint on how to design things.

Probably because they can't see the bigger picture and their accountants can only see the 250k + a year for an industrial designer.

That and they all sell to a price point.

I really wish they made a wireless full size one.

I use the 30" at home and at work but I would have no problem going to the 27" as it is almost the same resolution.

It is too bad they don't make one without the speakers, Mic, and HD camera.

I'm struggling with buying one myself for home. On the one hand £899 is a ludicrous amount to spend on a PC monitor for home use, on the other hand it's beautiful.

Why? I doubt they add much to the price and are just there to make it seem more useful.

The speakers on it are fairly good though.

Just had to bring in our 27" iMac yesterday for the 1TB Seagate HDD recall. Hopefully it will be ready today.

The speakers on it are fairly good though.
They could have two SKUs with one maybe $150 or so less but then again, that would just increase manufacturing costs for them supporting the two so in the end, probably better to stick to one.

The speakers are alright for being built in.

Tis a nice screen but it is silly how apple limit the ports to one displayport.

the latest summary I saw did not show a SINGLE LED IPS 27" display (I am aware that it is not a full-LED backlight, but still)

To connect to it? You can get adaptors.

Probably because Apple would sue them?

Jokes aside, what's the resolution and colour like on it?

It's probably because I'm cheap but I wouldn't pay o much for a monitor, then again, Apple products are naturally expensive.
