So, please answer me this,
have you noticed an increase in such shows/docuīs) ?
and how can you rule out the possibility that it is a kind of awareness campaign ?
Because they'd focus on one type of disaster, not all of them. It's just the date coming up making TV studios do stupid stuff because the public keep talking about it.

As for the US moving government sites to remote areas, unless they are putting them under the mountains I don't see why they'd be any safer there except from people.

I think they just fuelling the curiosity, we haven't done anything exciting with regards to "flying" for years with regards to the airport.

Are they preparing us for something?

Difficult isn't it, we have such awareness these days of what goes on in the world. At least much more than before, would they tell us of some impending doom who knows, are we shown so much these days.

I mean dam, we apparently cant breath because of exhausts and the sun is going to melt us to death, we pretty much believe anything.

It's all about the media and effective advertising. For decades, the media as a whole has been pushing the boundaries for acceptable marketing and content. That's why we've come from Howdy Duty to Jerry Springer. Keep in mind that there were a few exceptions such as the The War of the Worlds broadcast, Twlight Zone and The Outer Limits which were always ahead of the game. Bottom line is that both firm and individual has been continually seeking the next bigger and best story. It just so hapens that a global apocalyptic end time judgement day nearing fear mongruling catostrophy is number one choice at the moment .

With recent catastrophic events, earthquakes, volcanos, tsunamis, and the whole 2012 thing, end of the world marketing is a big money maker right now.

Of course, I think that we are on the cusp of something globally significant, but not because the TV people know something we don't.

Could be something.

My brother was telling me that there is a government website that is like a "services wanted" site. Companies are able to check the website out, and put bids in for these contracts. One of the contracts was for $8 million dollars worth of food and it was for the possibilities of a Madrid fault line earthquake. Government apparently had some major study done and the scientists said that one is coming very soon and supposed to be huge.

I also found out last year that the government here has done drills to shut the city down as fast as possible. No one in, no one out. Its kinda scary to think about that, because downtown there are really only a handful of major intersections that they have to shut down and your stuck. There are very few back roads to use as the city is surrounded by water on 1 side, mountains on 2 sides, and a freeway on the other.

Though what is scarier is the stuff that they don't show on TV. I have been watching stuff about food on Netflix which has made me want to buy mainly local organic food now, and Countdown to Zero really freaked me out. Engineering college students made bombs for a couple grand and showed them to congress. All they needed was the fuel, which seems surprisingly easy to get if your looking in the right places and have enough money.

It's because everyone has an opinion about how the world will end and the money to visualize it and put it on tv.

I have noticed is the incredible amount of tv shows about anything at all, literally.

They have shows about cutting down trees, rummaging through junk, making sand castles, eating weird ****, ghosts, wild hogs, pest control, washed up entertainers, no bodies, has beens, addiction, gangs, people who are famous just because they are famous (have no real job in entertainment) the list goes on and on.

Don't get me started about reality shows, they make reality shows about anyone who will let themselves be filmed.

Thank God for the internet, if I want to watch something, I can find it online and watch it when I want, TV has become white noise for when I go to sleep.

Default Have you guy noticed this ?
I donīt watch alot of Tv, but iīve recently noticed that more and more shows/docuīs are portraying things like global effective catastrophes (super volcanoes, asteroid impacts, biological threats, the sun going awol etc, etc), shows like "life after humans", End time prophecies (like Nostradamus effect), and more than normally shows about Aliens (when Aliens attack, Ancient Aliens, reruns of UFO docuīs etc)
Tbh barely a day goīs by where i donīt see some kind of show hinting towards a devastating future ahead, and the things i named are only a small portion of whatīs being shown.
Now, my question
do you guys thing this is sort of subconscious public awareness campaign in which the public is slowly being fed small amounts of info of some kind of upcoming event (2012 ?) or is this just a coincident ?

Another thing,
explain to me the Denver Airport (and all the pretty much apocalyptic paintings)
the fact that so many important US facilities (CIA, military, etc) are being relocated to mountain areas The US has ordered an abnormal amount of MRAīs
I could go on and clarify, but itīs late, i might do later for those not in the know
