As far as Juice Defender is concerned, I'm a user (w/ Ultimate Juice). It can't be expected to work miracles, but with the right right settings and kernel I've seen some impressive results.

When I flash something new with a significant change, I'm always careful to properly calibrate my battery (bump charge, delete stats, bump drain) and typically see about a 40-50% improvement in battery life with JD enabled. [thumbup]
