Many manufactures (like samsung) are REAL slow to roll out updates. For instance, the EPIC 4G afaik just got 2.2. So if you bought a dual core phone from say, samsung, then you would be stuck waiting for them to roll out an update to do whatever, like support dual core phones.
Ah, I got it... Each manufacturer has to add the Android updates... I thought you could just get them as soon as the OS was updated... So, you guys think I should just go for the Droid 2 now instead of waiting for the Droid 3? D3 might have a few nice features/updates, but if dual core's likely to never be implemented, idk... Still using a 4+ year old LG VX9900 (EnV) here [rofl].
