Just finished watching it, pretty decent episode. Looks like we got a few additions to the cast. Now, lets see if they can stay more focused on the Universe and getting back home instead of being in constant contact with Earth every other episode.

This show needs to die. They cant seriously be lost in space for the next 10 seasons.

The SG-1 was the ultimate SciFi show of all time, and Stargate Atlantis was awesome as well.

But this show is crap with crap as an icing on top of it.

I wouldn't say terrible, but I would say uneven. As far as the first new episode, it was just a tad too nice wrap-up of the three-parter - even if it did leave some open questions. At least they kinda get on with things.

I've quite enjoyed it so far, more so than other SG series but they need to lose the stones, they're lame.

I really didn't think that the characters were anywhere near as interesting as SG-1, which was mostly driven by that. Also, there still is no main story arc, besides them being stranded on an ancient ship...

No way. All gates are crap.

Firefly was the only decent one and damn Fox cancelled it. [no]

Why? All gates are on budget level, the characters never develop and the actors are horrible.

Let me guess, you love the show(s)? Why would you want to smoke something I might be smoking considering at this moment I dislike it?

I really liked Atlantis the most, because of the ever on going war/thread, but they made it a short, got bored with sg1 a lot sooner then Atlantis.

Universe feels like a soap, we got a slutty girl that sleeps with the popular player, we got a nerd which is of course in love with her, scientist and commander who keep betraying each other.

To keep it short very average, yet i watch it because there pretty much no SCI-FI series, but the plot is just so weak

I hated some of the characters in Atlantis. Sheppard, Teyla and Ronon for example were just terrible and the Wraith were a lot less fun opponents than the goa'uld or the ori. Just IMHO ofc.

Teyla was too much of a humanitarian and it was annoying. God forbid you kill a fly, she would give you an hour speech about it, half the time she couldnt make up her mind about anything. She made the main team unbalanced. 1/3 of the show was all about her, what she wanted, who she knew. etc etc.

And im glad Firefly got canned, now Nathan Fillion plays in a new TV show called Castle, and he does a fantastic job.

The biggest issue with Teyla was that the actress was as wooden as they get...

Also, I loved Firefly and would rather have that back than any other series - but with that being said Castle does kick arse.
