Nasa has claimed to find alien life form in meteors in the past, and have been proven wrong by the scientific community on more than one occasion, so now they stand neutral on the subject. And lets face it, many scientists will simply refuse to jump on the 'alien'(whatever) bandwagon despite having tangable evidenve in there faces. Whats so difficult here is that all bacterial evidence of alien life we have discovered thus far has been encapsulated in rock that is perhaps millions, if not billions, of years old. Meaning there is no organic material left, just rock and possible fossil of said bacteria. The catch here is that the fossil bacteria is all but identical to a naturally occuring pattern in some earthly rock forms. Dose this prove that it's not alien bacteria? No, but it can not be accepted as proof. Until we get our hands on something taken directly from a meteor, asteroid, or other planetary surface(like mars, the moon, ect..) directly from outside our earthly realm, and can definitively identify it as 'life', I am afraid that we will always have doubt. Unless ofcourse the little green men decide to show up in droves... |
