Default 1972 Eldorado V8 goes 408.997mph
http://www.motortrend.com/features/p...lac/index.html

1800hp and 1500 torques on 17psi, Twin Turbos and 8.8L bored over from 472cuin.
A 8.1L makes 1400 torques on 20psi.

Said that they did it on gasoline, so I assume 93 octane?
Still uses stock block and crank.

whats the point of enlarging a 7.7l engine, I take it the engine had a square stroke then and a shallow crank throw ?
