if your gonna spend that kinda cash why not start with a gtr?
Several reasons...

1. The base MSRP on the GTR is $48,000 more than what I paid for my Z... By the time you're look at dealer markup and taxes, it's more like $60,000+ more. (I could almost buy 3 of the Zs I bought for that!) Yes, off the lot the GTR is a better car, but what I'm going to be doing to my Z isn't going to nearly cost $60,000... And by the time the Z is done, it will hand a GTR its' ass on a silver platter. [yes]

2. Try comparing the insurance between a Z and a GTR As far as my insurance is concerned, it will be a weekend driver @ stock. The only extra I'll be paying is to cover the modifications against theft and accidents. Gotta love my insurance!

3. EVERY last detail on my Z will be custom-tailored EXACTLY to my liking...

4. The wife-to-be wants a 370Z Roadster, nuff said. [surrender]
