Im not being funny, so don't take it the wrong way,

Im not the best bloke to be picking on someones grammar or punctuation, so here goes...

Why do you use - ,..? it's gotta be ... not ,..

Been bugging me for a while now.

A guy I work with uses (,,,). Still trying to figure out what the hell that one means, he still uses ellipses (...) so it has to mean something else.

Why do you use - ,..? it's gotta be ... not ,..

International punctuation differences is my guess. I have always taken it to mean (,) to break up/pause the sentence, but also let you know more is forthcoming.

I completely overuse it... but i do so because in my mind, it makes my sentences seem more conducive to the spoken word.
