Any opinions on this service?

I ask because they recently added the ability to rent games in addition to television shows and movies so I was wondering what are peoples experience with them now that they have added this. They have a similar price to Netflix except they don't charge extra to rent Blu-Rays so that is a plus also.

I thought Blockbuster was weeks away from filing for bankruptcy? Now should be the time to rent a ton of stuff with no intentions of ever bringing it back

I looked into trying this a while back but at that time the offer was US only. I don't know if that's changed or not but would be interesting to try see how it goes, especially for the games.

I used to have it. Just like Netflix, though with them you get to Steam unlimited movies in the streaming library.

It is cool though that you can now do games with Blockbuster. That would totally make it worth wild if the price is right. 2 in one instead of having to have a movie service and something like gamefly.


I have no complaints about BlockBuster. Fast, good movie selection, nice GUI for their website. They used to give you free game coupons in the mail. That is why I had it. Though I think that they did stop it. That was a pretty nice bonus.
You can also take up to 4 movies back to a store instead of the mail and pick out a movie to take home for free. That is also another nice feature that can come in handy. They still mail you your next movie even if you have a movie out from the store that you got from dropping off a return at the store instead of in the mail.
