How's the F&F? Can't really tell, but it looks.. half decent from the pics. I do like the wood chosen though.

How much does it weigh?

It is illegal to carry a knife in Glasgow, but then it is knife crime capital of the world.

I've got a really nice 3" Gerber folding drop point, but because it has a lock, it needs to stay in the house nowadays. Had it since about 1994.

I only carry two knives.

First, my Gerber LMF-II

Second is my CRKT M21-14SF

My Gerber is my go to knife for everything, my daily carry is my CRKT.

That's the kind of knife you would only draw with. You don't use the tip to stab.

I did get that - it's similar to the knives I'd cut up joints and meat with and as the handles get slippery, and as I cut my finger as a kid when my grip slipped, I'm very aware of the damage that could be done to the tendond if I was careless - fortunately my hands are a good size and I can hook my little finger over the end of the handle, for added reassurance.
Still a bit wussy, though, I must admit! [surrender]

there are heaps of cheapish fishing knives available, floatation handled, with lanyards and SS blades - get one of those.
Also, in many countries, knives are classes as weapons and there are laws regarding types and lengths,

Maybe something here?

Did anyone else see the significance here ?

Might have been best to actually write down Stainless Steel.
