That is pretty awesome though. He is probably one of the only(if not THE only) person to buy a lambo and use it as a daily driver like that. That is probably the most mileage any of them has ever seen.

What an awesome thing to do. Not so much the selling all of his possessions and basically living out of the car, I just mean what he did with the car. Using it as a vehicle and not just a toy to be taken out on occasion.

TBH it probably would still work if he had taken like 6 months to break in the engine slowly instead of going straight to the punishment of long road trips. Why didn't he just buy a used one that was already broken in? No warranty?

Umm....long trips won't hurt a motor. In fact, breakin is usually over buy the 1st oil change at 3,000 miles. For a new engine I changed the oil at 100 miles, 500, 1000, and then at regular intervals when it looked dirty.

If the timing chain DID indeed stretch then there is nothing he could do about that, the only thing that would keep it from stretching is NOT driving it at all.
