Default Frigging Royal Mail
Why is it that any other courier company can deliver in most conditions but yet Royal Mail can't?

I ordered a new 24" LCD Monday it came Tuesday no probs at all.

Ordered a Panasonic GH1 from Amazon last Friday, had no option but to have it sent 1st class by Royal Mail due to the weather, which not really clever considering how much this camera costs.

Today is Wednesday according to Amazon it should have been here Monday.

Now it could down to 2 reasons

First it due to all the backlog in parcels with all this snow were having.

Or somebody pinched it at the sorting office which is not a uncommon problem due to all the dodgy temps they keep employing.

What really ticks me off is that i sent a package off Saturday by RMSD to Oxford of all places & it got there fine on Monday considering that area has been hit alot worst with snow more than we have here.

So im wondering is anybody else waiting on stuff to be delivered by Royal Fail.

Don't Amazon use HDNL for delivery?
HDNL are the absolute worst, even has a premium rate line "customer service".

RM is fine for me if I have a tracking number and the depot's just 10mins walk away so no problems if I'm not in for collection.

The current weather would definitely have had an impact on your delivery though.

Nice camera btw; would love to get that if I has the coins.

What worse than Royal Fail? The Fail people who still use them to send hardware through the post.

You got what you deserved. [rofl]

Amazon only delivery service at the time was Royal Mail 1st class only.

If i had other options to choose i wouldn't have had it sent by this.

Every parcel supplier has f*cked me up the hoop before now.

You also need to remember that the courier ALWAYS gets the blame. Even if the company didn't send it until a month after it was ordered they will still say it's with the courier.

Of course, that only still works with Royal Mail first class because everyone else has tracking on their parcels.

Ordered some BDs and a book from Amazon at the end of December (RM). Should have been here by Saturday, but arrived yesterday, so not too bad.

Never had a problem with HDNL. The only courier I've had issues with is Shitty Link.
