Next race is up, as many of you know, Hamilton got disqualified in last race and Trulli his penalty removed, so the current standings are these:
1 Jenson Button British Brawn-Mercedes 10 2 Rubens Barrichello Brazilian Brawn-Mercedes 8 3 Jarno Trulli British Toyota 6 4 Timo Glock German Toyota 5 5 Fernando Alonso Spanish Renault 4 6 Nico Rosberg German Williams-Toyota 3 7 Sebastien Buemi Swiss STR-Ferrari 2 8 Sebastien Bourdais French STR-Ferrari 1 But now - Malyasia - Practice is on and Kimi is on fire! Literally that is, or at least his car, including the cabin, is full of smoke ![]() Also, Kimi drove one corner wide - and then yelled to radio "don't talk to me in the middle of a corner!" when someone was giving him instructions or something edit: First Practice results: ![]() ![]() |

Interesting, Ferrari are performing better with a hotter track and tyre combo.
Brawn working on race fuel loads? Perhaps, they weren't fastest in either P1 or P2 in Melbourne. I'd say it's 50/50 that either Ferrari have an edge, or Brawn are just holding back like in Melbourne. Toyota have lost some pace, maybe it's from having to run a less flexible rear wing now. Red Bull still showing strong pace[thumbup] |

Looking at the flags in the grid line up it occured to me that we have too many German drivers in F1. I think there should be max. 2 drivers per country allowed, so we have more countries involved. |

Don't forget the Brawns have done very little testing so I think they'll use all the time they have for race simulation during practice rather than trying to post fast laps.
